Design sense of humor.

I saw this while cruising Zappos.com this afternoon and nearly laughed out loud. I'd say that quite a few tongues were planted firmly in cheek when this one was sketched up.

Moschino Handbags: Tresor Borsa Tracolla Shoulder Bag, $808.95. 13 1/2" wide at bottom, 11" wide at top x 3" deep x 6 1/2" high.

Let's see: flap closure a la Hermes Kelly, huuuuuge padlock a la Chloe Paddington, and for extra fun, the gang at Moschino have tossed in a Chanel-inspired chain shoulder strap. Yes, the inscription says "GOOD LOCK."

All this hilarity can be yours for only $808 dollars which, frankly, I find baffling. Even more baffling, for just an extra hundred dollars, the textured leather version can be yours for $908.95. Woohoo!


Today's bag: Pierotucci Birkin-style bag. I've been completely boring with my handbag choices lately, but I intend to mix it up a bit tomorrow.

Wow, with that chain strap, it's kind of cute! Ha ha ha.

I forgot the last two times I posted on designer-ella to post the recent bag. I carried the same one for quite a while, and one time it was IN the post, and another, there were lots of other bag pictures. I need to post more, but I'm busy with other blogs for fashion week.

It is kind of cute, and definitely good for a smile. That crazy lock is really the only thing that would make me hesitate.

Oooh, have fun at the shows, although by the time you read this it will be over. :-) I saw a few things in Bag Snob's journal, but I've been busy with offline stuff and other things to peek into the fashion journals much. ;-p
